The President and Staff Physician is Doctor Jafar Koupaie, M.D. Doctor Koupaie has over 35 years of experience having been a practicing physician since the 1970's.  Doctor Koupaie graduated from Pahlavi College in Iran in 1971 and came to the United States to complete his internship at Salem Hospital in Salem, MA, and his residency at Tufts/Boston University in Boston, MA, and served his fellows at Massachusetts General hospital in Boston, MA.  He was Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology on November 23,1976. Doctor Koupaie is affiliated with Caritas Norwood Hospital in Norwood, MA.  He has a Dermatology Clinic in Cobbs Corner, Canton, MA.  Doctor Koupaie speaks both English and Farsi. Doctor Koupaie is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Academy of Liposuction Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the Following organizations: American Academy of Dermatology, New England Dermatological Society, American Dermatologic Surgery and Oncology, Massachusetts Medical Society, and the Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology.

Doctor Koupaie purchased Boston Dermatology in November of 1996. He has since then expanded the scope of the clinic. Boston Cosmetic Surgery offers the newest and latest cosmetic skin rejuvenation techniques to come along in decades! We offer a wide variety of specially developed dermatological products related to helping you maintain cleaner, healthier and more youthful skin tone.

The Center offers many cosmetic services such as Botox Treatments, Juvederm, ARTEFILL, Reviderm & Silicon Fillers. Also Liposuction, Laser Surgery for Facial Rejuvenation and a variety of other conditions, Propecia and Rogaine Therapy Plans and Hair Transplant Surgery. We accept most health insurance plans and HMO's for non-cosmetic conditions. We also accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.

We have been accredited by the Chicago-based Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC) since 1998. This voluntary Accreditation helps to assure our patients that they are getting the finest, most up-to-date, most safety-conscious care available today.  Accreditation involves being scrutinized for techniques in Record keeping, Cleanliness, Equipment Condition and Care, Rules, Regulations and Safety Policies, Staff Management and most importantly, Patient Care. Not all who apply for this specialized Accreditation make the grade, but we have done it year after year, to make sure your visit here is the best and safest it can possibly be.
